Who is low and still has LT's?
I wanna get some longtubes, but my car is pretty low. I know scrapping is a threat. But I'm curious if it's still doable. Lowest part on my car right now is the SLP diamond SFC's, they have 3 inch clearance from the ground.
Would the LT's hang lower than that? Would shorty's be a better option for me?

get springs from this guy https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=938651
I've seen pacesetters on alot of cars, and they hang low as *** even without being dropped, that's why I'm not sure what to go with.

You have sportlines I see, so you're pretty damn low. I have BMRs (1" drop) and my Pacesetters tuck up nicely, but my TSP catted Y scrapes occasionally over steep speed bumps and steep curbs. ANY aftermarket Y is gonna scrape like mad on your car so you better get a custom Y made without cats. Don't know much about LT1 headers but you may have a problem at the collectors. Just don't get shorty's because they aren't worth the money and trouble since they basically do dick (5whp maybe).

i'm lowered on stranos (about 1 1/4'' drop) with pacesetters and a custom 3'' catless ypipe...headers tuck up real nice and have never scrapped...I have only scraped my ypipe a couple of times and that was over ridiculously steep speed bumps...i do have an LS1 so i don't know how low the LT1 headers hang tho...good luck.

When i was lowered the only thing thast hit was my tunnel mount for my T/A it was notched for LT's. That was on Pro-kit springs. Rarely the cats would scrape over huge speed bumps.

i went with mids because i knew LTs would drag on my car. Im getting my cats deleted after i get "smogged" in december just to give me 1" more of clearance, and hopefully ill gain a few hp and dB.

just do it alex.
occasional bumpage is aites.
just hit the speed bumps and driveways at angles
and if u cant deal with the rest, then get 22"s
if im not mistaken u only got the SLs in the front right?

I have the pro kit and LT's and i scrap in my driveway bad but only the clamps, i just need to go under and adjust them so they are on the side of the header instead of hanging down. If i had the sportlines i wouldnt do it though, upgrade to the pro kit.

I'm lowered about 2" and have the new BBK LT's and ORY... they have a 2.5" into a 3" Y-pipe for added clearance... they tuck nicely and I only rub on speed bumps when I drive carelessly...

My camaro is lowered with Eibach Pro-kit springs and Bilstein HD revalved shocks. I have kooks stepped long tubes with Kooks catted y-pipe. Also I have UMI's tubular k-member and tubular upper/lower control arms which made the car sit about another 1/2" lower than just the springs and shocks. My car is rather low and I haven't scraped anything.....yet. The long tubes and y pipe tuck up very nice. I even have the spohn torque arm and flat cross member and you can see the amount of clearence I have in these pics. So my vote is for Kooks on lowered cars.
