i was wondering if you can put in one of the LS motors ( not sure which one yet) into a Fiero? the car has a transaxle or some crap but can that be changed out for something else?? i want to use everything the motor has to offer..

Google search fiero v8 conversions. I know they make kits to put a SBC V8 in them, and I don't see why an lsx wouldn't work. I think just a stock LS1 would be pretty badass in one of those little cars.

Yes you can put a LSX motor into a Fiero. If you use any LSX motor besides the LS4 then you will need an adapter plate to mate it to the trans. There are several LSX motors out there in Fieros now but are running on weak manuel transmissions that can not handle the HP/TQ they put out. The lastest are put on unproven G6 6 speeds tranmissions. If you wanna go the manuel trans route then ol Archie has a master kit for mucho $$$ that you can buy. If you wanna put an LSX motor on a reliable 65E that can handle the HP/TQ then Loyde over at fastfieros.com can help you out on that end. There is a Thead over on Fiero.nl where a guy is installing a LSX/65E into an 88 Fiero using Fastfiero's parts. Here is the Thread:

I am working on a LS4 install now that should be done in a few months or so. I chose it because is didnt need a adapter plate, came with a trans that can handle the power and uses all the LSX aftermarket.
