Default small cams and dual springs?

I got a car with a pretty good sized cam and it has dual valve springs. I'm pulling the cam out and goin back to a small or even stock cam. Its gonna be a daily driver and i might even be trying to sell it. The big lope has got to go but I was wondering if I had to go through all the work of changing the springs in the car or can they just stay in and not have a damaging effect on the lifters or anything else. Any help would be appreciated. I dont want to have to change the springs unless highly recommended. i.e. chances are sooner than later something is going to fail due to me not changing them. Thanks

Should be fine, but if you return to stock you may need different pushrods due to change in base circle diameter.
