fuel pressure sending unit and heat
I posted this over in the "Fueling and Injection" forum but thought I might get more responses over here.
Over the last month or so I have noticed that my fuel pressure has dropped about 3 to 4 psig at idle. Over this same period it has really gotten hot here in Phoenix with temps ranging from the upper 90's to 112 today.
I am wondering if the sending unit could be having problems with the excessive heat? Currently have an Autometer electric fuel pressure guage with the sending unit mounted directly onto the fuel rail.
Anyone have any info for me?
Thanks,
Brian
