I need to know if an oil pan is included in a gm crate motor ls1 or ls6? If it doesnt come with an oil pan i was wondering if the oil pickup tube is supplied and already installed. the reason i ask is i have a customer who had a crate motor installed and after 500 miles it failed due to the oring on the oil tube being improperly installed/ pinched.

It does, but I'm not sure if it's the vette or f-body pan that it comes with....

that I know of they come oil pan to intake manifold

so if it comes with oil pan this would have been gm's fault. i will give them a call and see if they will warranty it.
