lots of searching and still have questions alright i have a 400rwhp 4000 stalled 3.73 geared 01 ta. I have lts with 3" ory and and a 18" race bullet muffler that goes over the axle and out the back, just wondering if you guys think a cut out right after the y-pipe will net any more e.t. or m.p.h......thanks

What kind of y collector is on the y-pipe? There could be some gains there. What size is the pipe running out the back. I'm sure a cutout welded in just after the y collector would show some gains as well.

I was thinking of putting one 3" cut out right where the y pipe(which is slip fit on both ends) goes into 1, right after that would be the muffler then there is the factory pipe that goes over the axle then is splits back into 2 pipes (2.5 each....could even be 2.25???) to the tips
