no spark or fuel
so me and dkbykesdk but the 4400 tourque converter and the car started up and ran fine. SMELLED RICH AS ****....
so we commense to back it out of the driveway after about 5 minutes of idling and it stalls. crank crank crank and wont fire. we realize that we forgot to plug the 02 sensors in and figured it ran so rich it fouled the plugs. so i changed the plugs today and no spark still, or fuel.
only thing out of the ordinary that happened was i touched a cresent wrench from the positive termail to the negative but i wouldnt think that would cause a short in the ecu/ignition
any input?

A direct short on a battery could've killed a cell inside the battery so you don't have enough voltage to let the PCM work, when cranking over the engine , which is when you need the battery to be it's best.... ??
Easy to swap battery out with any other known 'good' battery , to see if it's the battery...
or a direct short could've blown the fuseable link , or other fuses that are in place to provide protection from direct shorts... ??
Get a volt/ohm meter & start checking....
