Default 6.0 LS6 cam 15PSI Comp 918's OK

I already have them, so Id like to use them. Patriot Golds seem way overkill for a 550 lift cam.

Well I dont think its the Lift for the cam, but if your running 15psi, you might want to think about some stiffer dual valvesprings, so you dont pop one!

Lift is one thing, but not what you match a spring to, unless you're beyond the capability of a lesser spring. You want to match your springs to the cam's ramp rate, but I noticed your sig. You're going with a turbo. Will a 918 be able to keep a valve closed without bouncing when you're max boost and WoT? FI applications usually want to run more spring (seat pressure).

I was thinking that the LS6 cam was mild enough that the 918 were already oversized?

Yes, they are fine, just make sure you run hem at 1.8 height and titanium retainers a plus. I run them on my Supercharged C6, 10 psi with .568 lifts XE lobes, no issues for 1 year
