Default bought an amp and sub

jl audio 250/1v2 class D Subwoofer Amplifier
and a hifonics zues 12 inch square sub and box

now ive read up on the amp and im unsing a stock headunit, i was goana get a line level converter box thing from ebay for like 8 bux but i read this amp doesnt need it
http://mobile.jlaudio.com/pdfs/Slash_amps/250_1_MAN.pdf

page 5 far right column you can use a speaker wire spliced into a rca, but im kinda lost it says put the input voltage on high then splice some rca wires into my current speakers, run them to the inputs...it doesnt say which one gets the inside wires and which gets the outside?(on the rca) does it matter? also doesnt say to do this with 1 rca or 2? (i assume 2)

also it says the output will decrese if you do this, it that the amplifier to sub output (wattage) or the output signal to other amps? (output rca signal)

Default

positive inside, negative outside. 2 rca's, one to the left and one to the right. It will lower the output to the sub because it has a weaker signal.
