someone rear ended me and they had to replace the well, drivers quarter panel, bumper, and catback. The door wasn't touched I don't think.
The very right edge of the window comes in contact with that triangular piece.

There are a couple of adjustments you could make to the window track to try to get it past that. But then you run the risk of misaligning it at the top. Do you have any leaks at the T-top seal? I think the root of your problem is the door not lining up properly.
Back to your original question, though. I'm not sure how that triangle is attached. Probably glued.

Both of my t-tops leak on both sides, don't know where the leaks are coming from though, they drip onto the sail panels below the speaker, pisses me off. If it's raining REALLY hard, sometimes I get a leak at the top of the window and on the rightmost edge where it's hitting that black piece.

Did the body shop straighten the frame? If you got hit hard enough for your door to bee like that I would say your body is tweaked and they should have put it on the frame straightener.
Either way take it back its not fixed if everything is not back the way it was before you where hit.

Lets try this: You can move the triangle piece to the right by straightening the frame back to specs.
Take it back to the shop.

I can't take it back to the shop. Car was hit in april of 07. I went out and looked at it today, the door is a little out of alignment but nothing crazy, not caused by the collision but from being used too much. Even so, I can lift the door a little bit when I close and it makes very little difference. It barely hit's the peak of that little triangle piece. I JUST want to know how people take this stupid thing off, because someone didn't put it on right. The door closes with little force with the windows down also.

Is the pic you posted of the door completely closed?
I've gotta agree with the above, i've had and worked on more than a few 4th gen f-bodies and i'd say most likely your unibody is tweaked. The leaks you listed would most definetly be a result.
You need to find the root of your problem, and i don't think its the triangel panel. THose things seldom act up...
If all else fails, do a search for "window alignment write up" under my name and see if that helps you out.
good luck!

That isn't that bad. You need to pull the door panel off and adjust the window. Move the window glass forward.
Also check your window stabilizer pins. They may be broken from the impact of the crash. Do your windows feel sloppy and loose?
There is alot of adjustment to be had with the windows, t top molding, you name it.

The black window plastic piece keeps popping off too like it is in the pic but I can pop it back in, it always keeps popping out though. My windows don't feel sloppy, at least I don't think. GM dealership replaced the window motor about 1 year ago. Also, everytime I close the door with the window down, it sounds like the window rattles. My passenger window also rattles barely when the window is down.
My door panel is cracked and is sort of gouging into the window, which I'm sure is not helping.

Here are some pics complements of SHBOX.COM
You CAN NOT see in the pins in this picture. The pins are small white pieces of plastic that stick up through these stabilizers. Their purpose is to stop the window from being fluttery. They firmly lock the window into the door frame instead of floating around on the tracks. This stops weird noise. Not being firm. Ect.
