Default Near Stock A4 CETA baseline 1/4 mile runs

Will and I hit the test and tune at MIR today. Hot as hell again, but not many cars there. A few Mustangs broke, slowing things down but it was still a good time. Pretty pleased with the CETA for the mods I have so far.
(Lid, MAF, seal the box, FAST hand held programmer) I'm sure the stock stall, manifolds and stock catback are killing my MPH.

I made (4) passes. Intake air temp was over 105 for all runs according to my scanner. Was hooking decent for a 275 z rated street tire!

60 [1.95] [1.96] [1.95] [1.98]
1/8 [8.43] [8.46] [8.45] [8.51]
mph [85.21] [84.94] [85.01] [84.61]
1/4 [13.08] [13.13] [13.11] [13.19]
mph [105.90] [105.59] [105.60] [105.24]

Looks like it's ready for the brackets!

Not bad for the rubber, mods and summertime weather. Definately has the making of a bracket car (or back-up in my case)

13.0 is really strong for a a4 with the only real mod being a lid. i doubt the tuning did much from the handheld. so id say a really stout a4 ls1.

did the CETA 02's any anything more than normal 01-02 ls1's?

They're just WS6's with an appearance package. The tuner really helped the shifting more than anything. It bumped the shift a touch higher and increased the firmness of the shift. The car also seems lighter than I thought it would be. With my 260lb butt in it, it weighed 3720. That's 3460 with full leather interior, jack and spare tire on board....I just bought some 3.73 gears so it'll be a little higher in the rpms through the traps. I pretty confident it has a 12 in it after the gears with a little better air.

Where did you weigh the car, how much gas? Mine was 3780lbs with me (230lbs) and about 30lbs of sub and amp and a completely full tank. I weighed on rock quarry scales which may be inaccurate at 3000 lbs, since they're made for dump trucks hauling multiple tons of gravel. I wish the local tracks had some scales on hand.

Anybody else weigh their WS6s?

Jon

Yeah Will, then you put 5 cars on me from the 1/8th to the end

BTW Jon I weighed it right at the track. They have a scale right next to the booth where you pick up the slip. I weighed it twice cuz I thought it would be more but it kept flashing between 3720 and 3725 both times.
