Default Backfiring motor

I ran my car at the track Friday night and it was back firing so bad my friends were call me drive-by. I did a search about back firing and a lot of guys said it could be the coil? It has a new opti and I have not had it wet. It runs fines till you wot, then at around 4500 rpms it starts breaking down and back firing. Any thoughts.

Make doubly sure all your plug wires are routed correctly.
