Sat. Night Heads Up Street Car program in Mo? Anyone interested in a heads-up street car program one Saturday night a month at U.S. 36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri? It's about 60 miles away from Kansas City, 150 miles away from Des Moines and around 160 from Columbia/Jeff City area.
It's an 1/8th mile track and I talked to Mike Franks, the owner, and he's very open to whatever we'd want to do. Mike is a long time friend of mine and one of the absolute best guys I've ever met - especially in the racing business.
The thing I like about U.S. 36 is that this deal would be a priority as compared to a red-headed stepchild like many street car programs are at bigger tracks.
If there is any interest, let me know. I'm going to try to put something small together for July.
