Default T-56 build?

im wanting to put around 400-500 rwhp in my car(eventually)! how should i build up the t56, in order for it to stay strong & hold? what type of clutch would be my best bet, & what all parts should i get for it? thanks for all the help!

The clutch is probably the biggest issue. If you're running less than 450 rwhp, the LS7 clutch is a great, and cheap, option.

There's a big difference between 400 and 500 rwhp. Your tranny will be fine for 400, but maybe not for 500.

We really need more info on what you intend to do. Is it going to be a 500 rwhp NA monster with a 9" rear running slicks? Is it going to be a 400 rwhp DD that will keep the stock rear and street tires?
