tune up help

tune up help About two weeks ago i changed out the spark plug and wires. I set the gaps as per the specs. Before i was getting 27 mpg, now I am getting around 20.
Any help as to why.

.... check to make sure you didnt crack a plug. check the wires for connection. go back to the old wires. set the car on fire......... has it been unusaually hot since the "tune up" ?
