Default clutch removal in a c-5

Hey guys, wasnt there a sticky along time ago about removal and installation of a clutch in your"driveway" "garage" ? If so could ya post or direct me to where it is.

I believe it was for installing a DTE brace, but same thing pretty much, if it was the same thread. Ive done it a few times and its actually not that bad if you have the right tools. Get a cheap tranny jack it will help out alot.

Is changing the clutch on a C5 easier than that of doing it on a GTO or F-body??

No it is not. Flywheel bolts are still a pain in the *** and you have to get the torque tube out.

Yeah pretty much everything has to come out on teh Vette to change the clutch. Tranny, diff, torque tube, axles (lol pretty much the whole rear) Ive done it a few times and actually got pretty fast at it. I could probably do a clutch swap in 4hrs or so.
