all motor or forced induction?
im trying to decide what route to take! so please give your opions on each side or what u would do or wouldn't do?
Also, if i was to go all motor, and get a set of S2 heads, (5.7 or 5.3 liter?) would they work on a bigger displacment motor like a 422?
thanks jeff

Re: all motor or forced induction?
Damn! That IS a tough decision.
If you go FI, you'll prolly want some 6.0liter (LQ9) head to lower the compression. If you go NA, you'd prolly want 5.3liter to raise your compression.

I've pondered this for years. With my set up, H/C seemed like the practical thing to do, but I always wanted a blower.
I ordered a H/C package from Tom at LS1 Speed Inc. today! I didn't shave the heads for higher compression, in case I do want to go booost later.

I'm going all motor, I figure after a cam and tuning, it will be a prett damn nice 2002 LS1(check sig.). Go with your gut though. If I were to get a blower or Turbo, there are a lot or other expences not seen on the surface, got luck chief
