I'm also posting here because it also refers to a conversion. I need opinions on whether to build my 98 Trans Am or 91 Mustang LX hatchback. Either car will be showcasing some chassis parts I build on the side. Both cars are in nice condition. One question I do have on the Mustang build is, with the 4L60E, what do I do about the speedometer hookup? If I build the Mustang i'll probably go carbed and use the MSD box. Also what can you do about the lockup feature of the torque converter(setting it where it locks at a certain RPM) and the shifter linkage. I know I can retrofit a stock shifter and all the hardware into the car. But, what about how it reads gear selection and what all, since it is electronic? Give me some info and opinions. Thanks
