Default Clutch problem

i split my driveshaft in half a few weeks ago. I put a new one in and when i took the car for a drive, the clutch feels like its not balanced. It will vibrate the whole car but it only happens when the motor is at about 2100 rpm. Im pretty sure that one of the springs on the clutch disk came out, making it out of balance. Just need some other peoples opinions. Thanks, Bob

Sure it's not the new driveshaft? Was the diff yoke damaged in any way?
Could be the clutch dampening springs but I would check the easier stuff first.

agreed sounds like the driveshaft might not be balanced properly. Also did the pinion angle change at all?

i put a used aluminum one in, the same one i had before. It cant be the driveshaft because it vibrates when the car isn't moving also.

A spring coming out wouldn't inherently lead to vibration...though it is possible. It would be better to check the parts rather than just guessing or hypothesising about the potential issue...which isn what any of us will be doing. That being said, why do you think a spring came out. The logical side of me says that the shaft was changed...it may be like the original one but it isn't the original. I would start looking at the shaft, the yolk, etc...and let us know what you find. Thanks!
