Default Headlight Mod ?

I painted the ugly grey area on the back of my headlights using a duplicolor primer then paint finishing it off with a duplicolor clear coat. Is this going to hold up well ?

I let them fully dry for about a week before re-installing and everything looks great however I noticed when the headlights are on for about 10 minutes the clear start to feel a little tacky.

Any suggestions ?

I used hig heat paint, due to the heat that seams to build up.

All I can think of happening is the paint/clear may turn yellow over the bulb due to heat.

Wait and see, and don't touch the paint while they are still warm.

Yeah, I could leave it alone but it bothers me - I even swapped out my HID system on one side to see if maybe there producing too much heat but its actually the same with the stock bulbs (damn theyre dim). I guess I never realized that the housing got the hot.

What brand of paint did you use, I could always sand the clear off and repaint it.
