Default Bearing Clearances & Ring Gaps

I just pick up all my parts from the machine shop and I'm ready to start building my engine. I found these bearing clearances for a Chevy 350:
Main

Stock: .002-.0035
Hi-perf street: .0025-.0037
Race: .0032-.004

Rod

Stock: .0017-.003
Hi-perf street .002-.003
Race .0025-.0035

Are the clearances about the same for an LS1?
Also, what is recommended for ring gaps?

Thanks

Ring gap opinions seem to vary alot on this board. I would go with the recommendation of the piston manufacturer. IMO, the rod bearing clearances you listed look dead on, but the race clearance on the main bearings look a little high. I would stick to .0025 to .003". The larger clearances will take more oil pressure to feed the bearings.
