Default sweet burnout pic from Pinks, and some night shots.

This shot was taken at Pinks ALL OUT at GIR

These were taken by me at about midnight, I still need to chop out the tripod.

FULL MOON.... I live on the Pacific..and full moon nites are very bright here..mostly due to reflecting light off of ocean....must have been a very clear night there...in Chicago though..???? I see your point...hopefully he will respond......................might have taken the pics beside the ILLINOIS OCEAN.

the OP said he needed to chop out the tripod shadow in his pic. the 2nd pic also has a port-a-jon in the backround.
pics must not have been taken anywhere around chicago. even on clear nights its not that bright, and isn't that the sun setting in the 1st pic. good pics though.

I was going to say the same thing^, hence why he is using a tripod so as not to get a blurry picture. I think they are kinda cool pictures( the last ones) the way you can see the stars standing out.

Correct! Exposure setting was 3.2 seconds with a +1 to kick up the light. The sky was somewhat overcast with high clouds which give the sky the pinkish look from all of the lights from car dealerships ect.

Normally on a clar night you can see more stars with a more blue look to the sky.

And yes I know I need to delete out the portajohn to...lol
