Hot side tubing size?

Hot side tubing size? I've searched the fourms for some time now and cant find any info on tubing size for the hot side? 2.5"....3"??? I have a 408 with an st80. I want to build a set up similar to this one.

i would stay away from the 3'',bigger tubing tends to loose velocity and heat causing slower spool times,like i said 2 1/4 would probably be best.
