Default New member..Looking at a 98 WS6 w/6 speed..Could use some advice

Hey guys. Sweet forum you have here. Ive been on FSC and GMFS for a long time. I may be trading my bagged chevy truck straight up for a trans am and I would like to know a little bit about the car.

It is a 98 Trans am WS6 LS1 with the 6 speed. 70k miles, lowered a little, SLP exhaust and SLP intake. From what I know its in really good shape. havent had a chance to check it out. That is all the information I have on it at this time. How does that sound? I will post the add for it. What are some common problems I should look for on this car. My truck probably has 10k into it, but I know id never get that selling it, so thats why a trade would be beneficial for me if I were to ever sell. Thanks a lot and again great site!

Sounds like a great deal to me...if you look at my post the Trans Am I'm looking at purchasing is $8,000 and people seem to say it's a great deal and it has over 100K miles.

See sig.

From looking at the pictures, I'd go for it. I was 17 when I picked my car up, it was bone stock. I'am 20 now. These cars are very fun for daily driving or racing as is an Lsx F-body. Plus a WS6 man, a WS6, looks, performance(acceleration/handling), the upgradability of the car, it is relatively cheap and easy to do. With little modifications the car will really wake up and feel totally different. Comfort does lack a little in my opinion, but everything else about the car makes up for it.

Just my opinion.

That looks like a great deal, if I were you, I'd do it. You won't be dissappointed.

Good luck with it.
