Default Will the MSD rpm activated switch work?

It is part #8950.

I ran a search and a post I came across said that it would not work on lsx platforms.

Do you guys know if it will work?

I am reading up on it now.

It only activates once.
It is not a window switch.

Is there a way to have it shut off a circuit rather than activate one?
I just don't want to bounce off the rev limiter and have a lack of fuel.

If you use a relay, pin 87a is a "reverse"... meaning it's always on until activated, then turns off.
