Default First Run ever with my 1999 Trans Am

Hi, last night I was able to take my 1999 Trans am to Gateway International Raceway in St.Louis for the first time.

My mods are:
SLP Lid
Magnaflow Catback
Diablo Handheld tuner (Only used for gear ratio/speedometer calibration)
3.42 gears

It was about 75degrees and not too humid of a night, and I was launching at about 1200-1300rpm. That's all I can do without the tires breaking loose at the line. Time slip as follows:

R/T: .247
60': 2.059
330': 5.816
1/8: 8.847 @ 81.57mph
1000': 11.450
1/4: 13.663 @ 101.84mph

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The first time I went, I forgot to turn off the TCS. I couldn't figure out why I kept killing it trying to clean off the tires. By then, nerves had the best of me. I missed third on my way to a 15.something. So, I think you did pretty good. I managed a 13.70 @ 102 later though. I go to Gateway also. I live about thirty or so minutes South of St. Louis, in Imperial. Maybe I'll see you up there, Rob.

Well mine is an automatic, and my TCS was off. To me it just seemed like my mph was a little on the low side...

But yea, if you see a Pewter Trans Am with chrome z06 wheels and tinted windows its probably me. I'm usually there on Tuesday nights and The Midnight Madness nights. Feel free to come over and chat.

I just wanted to know how the 60' time, trap speed, etc looked for my car.

I had previously thought I had something wrong with the car, because it felt like I was lacking power under 3500rpm. I put it on my scanner and found some knock being detected when brake torqued, as well as a lean code being thrown. Up to 6.5* of knock actually...

I put a new MAF, and o2 sensors and that solved my SES light problems, but it still detected knock. So I seafoamed it and took her to the track. That's where I'm at now.

Friday I'm gonna hook it back up to the scanner and see if the knock is gone, but I guess to make a long story short, I wanted to know if this seemed like a properly running car.

What was the DA? Shallow stage and try leaving off idle.

On that run, the DA was about +2000. I stage shallow every run, and I actually ran a few hundreths slower taking off from an idle.
