Problem with 97' TA and keyless remote start (stalls) Question for you guys...
My girlfriend has a 97' WS6 (pretty cool, huh?) and she has one of those remote keyless engine starting things.
Anyway, after about 10 minutes of driving, the TA will just shut off... even if you're cruising down the road in it. I also noticed that it'll stall immediately if you go WOT on it, and the tach hits over 4k or so.
I'm not an electrical genius, but it sound to me like the person who installed the remote start probably messed up the wiring with the ignition/starter... maybe a wire is shorting somewhere?
Anyway, I figure I'd ask on here, since I'm not sure what is causing the problem, that way she can identify it and get it fixed.
