Default compression ratio question

when i do a cam swap and put 243 heads on will the compression ratio go up? and if so will this hurt the rings enough to blow them out? full bolt on 99 z28 cam tsp 233/239 243 heads

Your CR would go up since there´s a smaller chamber on 243's heads, it is a direct bolt on, just check PTV.

I would think the PTV clearance would be ok if you have stock size vavles
I think if you use stock ML gaskets it should be about 10.5:1 compared to your 10.1:1 now
