sway bar link installation
while i was doing my 12-bolt install, i decided to go ahead and replace my rear sway bar end links with new energy suspension poly units.
i did the install witih the suspension loaded, and i tried to tighten them down to the specified torque listed in the chiltons manual... but it just seems too tight, like the bushing at the body mount side is really smushed. i just dont know how you can get a proper torque spec tightening when you are tightening something against a bushing that compresses.
i'm sure its equally bad for it to be too loose, so i'd like to make sure its tightened properly... what could i be doing wrong?
