Like the title says, I have a 99 Vette LS1 and for my particular conversion it would be best to use camaro / firebird setup...if anyone is interested in trading up let me know...in NJ but willing to ship or travel Thanks!

You would think people would be jumping out of trees for this setup. The Vette setup is way harder to come by. Guess it depends on what you are putting it into.

yeah I only bought the vette motor because I got a nice package deal with a 2000 camaro full swap....now I have the corvette motor ready to swap into another car and I could really use the f-body setup. its a 99 vette ls1, with only 40k.

I'm wondering if this would fit my chevelle better as far as the alternator setup is concerned, if so I will trade

ok so it looks like the power steering pump is on the lower driver side, and the alternator is high on the driver side

if true this would give me more clearance for my alternator

well, looks like I confirmed my suspicion....at first glance things like the alternator and a/c compressor look alike...in an attempt to just trade the absolutely necessary parts I was hoping we could just trade brackets and be done with....but apparently the a/c compressor and the alternator are slightly different. different enough to warrant a trade, as the f-body alt wont bolt into the corvette bracket and vice versa. In addition to that, the crank pully is different too apparently....could'nt tell by looking but a buddy of mine told me the accessories sit closer to the engine than in an f-body. SO what I'm looking for here is a full trade. all brackets, crank pully, alt., a/c, tensioners, power steering, and all associated hardware.
