Default c6 header diy turbo with lq9 block?

If I swap my ls1 block with a 6.0 iron block are all the dimensions still the same? Could I still use the c6 and or truck headers to do a diy turbo setup?

I would say yes-I am doing a C5 though-the one thing i've come across is the pass side engine mount would not bolt to the block without some grinding of the block-a square cast hunk in the way.

Yah I know you have to drill and tap one hole for the alternator, no biggie. I was just wondering because I want to buy an lq9 block and get it machined and put all the forged internals in before I even pull my motor. So I want to design my turbo setup on my ls1 then pull it and put in my lq9

Sounds like a plan. Only differance is the the bore size 4.0 instead of 3.90 physically they are the same size so you have nothing to worry about.
