Default how to remove the pinion gear?

how to remove the pinion gear? my pinion was stripped bald so having the carrier in wasnt doing anything, so how do i get it out now?

go to where your driveshaft connects to your rearend. there's 2 u bolts (4 nuts) take off the 4 nuts and take out the u bolts. get a screwdriver and pry the driveshaft apart. you will see a big nut on the yolk after you disco the drive shaft. take off the nut and get pound out the pinion with a hammer. you may want to use a piece of wood to pound on or something if you dont want to mess up your pinion.
