Default Weights affects on rear ends

I was wondering how much the weight of the car has an affect on the stock 10 bolt. I just built up my 10 bolt with a new Torzen, 3.73's, TA Girdle and all that. Plus a really well respected rear end builder put it together for me. He builds Rears for cars going twice as fast as me. My Car weighs only 3300 Lbs. Ive got a Mcleod Clutch too and was wondering how hard i could launch it with some Nittos? A 12 bolt is not going to happen. So please dont just post get a 12 bolt because im not Bank of America.

Default Re: Weights affects on rear ends

I would say as long as u have a 10-bolt u better ease it off the line or either what some call flood it off the line. I wouldnt recommend getting a good hook with a 10-bolt. not sure about specifics on a launch. maybe someone else will chim in and tell ya
