98 TA with a lid and LM 3.23 A4 (me)... 99 corvette A4 bone stock (friend)
we went for a few runs.. i spun a LOT more than him so he got me to about 60 then i gained that car back by 90 and had him by about a car by 110 or so..
50 roll to about 90 i had him by about a car MAYBE a car and a half.. woulda pulled more but road did not permit.

If just one of the car is stick then its up to the drivers! I raced a C5 when my SS was bone stock and I had three people in my car on the freeway and I pulled on him , not alot but I did pull (he may have been an auto, I don't know). From a dig the Vette will get better traction since it's an auto but you should have NO problem pulling on him after you get moving unless of course you can't drive for ****! I have seen bone stock automatic C5s run 14.0s before and I would say average 97 C5 autos run high 13s, you should be able to beat him but traction is going to give you hell unless you get dragradials; now you will tear him a new *** from a roll, no doubt.
