This is the engine management system that the GMPP "Ram Jet" crate engines come equipped with.

When they first started selling these, there wasn't much of a demand for them as a stand alone kit because GM designed the ECM to have a code "lock" that prevented any of the factory tuning settings to be altered. So there for awhile, if you bought one of these, you were pretty much stuck with a stock tune.

After doing some research, it looks like the aftermarket is finally catching up and there are several tuning services and DIY tuning software packages now available for this kit. MSD "Ingenius" and "MEFIBurn" are two of the DIY tuning software packages, and it appears that Arizona Speed & Marine is doing mail order tunes on these.

Has anybody used one? Are they any good?
