I was reading that some people ended up cutting 1 rib off their belt when they relocated the alternator.

I did the same tonight and drove about 60 miles and got on it a few times and the belt is still on.

I would have shredded a belt if it was using the 6 ribs.

I will post some pictures when i get home tonight.
