R1 vs mild 402 :P well this new R1 decided to pass me on the highway tonight and i let him around then i reeled him in around 150ish 
we went down an old country road to go again and he didnt want any

i would say he passed you in 4th or 5th and never geared down. because a well ridden r1 will trap 140+ and i dont see your set-up doin that on motor but good kill neway

I agree.... I have yet to see if my car can run with my R1, and though it should be close, i still think the R1 will win - and i'm putting down over 700 to the wheels

Yeah, a well ridden 05+ R1 will laugh at a 500 RWHP car which is what I would expect you're close to. Now the advantage definitely diminishes as you get above 150+ but it will still pull up to about 180 where it's redline limited. It's not the same as being drag limited where you just slowly approach top speed. He probably didn't downshift to 4th at that high of speed like he should've.
