Hey, everyone. I,m trying to decide which way to go for headers. Previously, I installed the LT pacesetters/TSP catted y-pipe combo matched up to my Hooker catback. Besides the usual y-pipe banging, I noticed a definite drop in low end torque - ( idle-3000 rpm's). I dont race the car, so this loss is not wanted for the street. BTW, the car was tuned after the header install. Would shorty headers possibly be the right compromise for my application (street only), and if I get them, do I need to replace the factory cats with aftermarket ones to make the shorties worthwhile?
