Best Process to wash/wax a car ???
I wanted to get some input on washing and waxing the Z28 (red) from the experts Heres my process i have been using:
1: Rinse car
2: Apply rim cleaner
3: Wash with Meguiars Gold Class
4: Rinse car
5: Wash again with Meguiars Gold Class
6: Rinse car
7: Dry with microfiber towels
8: Apply Meguiars Hi-tech Yellow Wax 26 with microfiber applicator
9: Take off wax with microfiber towels
10: Dress tires with Meguiars Hot Shine spray
The car is a 1998 Bright Red Z28 with 143k on the clock. I had the hood and front end repainted about a month ago so out of 10 i would give it a 9 because of very light swirl marks. The rest of the car is org. paint and out of a 10 i would give it a 6.5 or 7, it has quite a bit of swirl marks and light scratchs. I have no expierence with clay barring or buffering ... Any advice or help is greatly appreciated Heres some pictures of the car with just the above washing process (Sorry about the bad camera photos):

I do hope your joking... he sat there and talked like 10 mins after he first sprayed it and let all the water dry on the paint.... last time I checked... that = water spots which = bad
