Was it a good, no scratch that GREAT recovery/saves...YES
Was he a Moron for getting back on it full throttle everytime he lost control...YES
That guy was reckless, fortunetly there was no one in the other lane. I dunno maybe I'm just a tool.

What he was doing by hitting the throttle was controlling the direction where his car was going. When he was sliding right, turn the wheels left and pump the gas and it will shoot you left. You keep doing this like he did until the car slows enough or just straightens out enough to go straight.
