Cam Experts.. Question
If you were to design the Ultimate Sleeper cam to achieve max power with stock idle characteristics. What specs would you use and go with?

Re: Cam Experts.. Question
We just did a 216/220 @ 114 in a 01 vette and when the idle is 125 over stock it is totally indecipherable from stock. However I like the 222/230 @ 114 for more power up top. I do feel that given the simulations that I have run testing over 100K cams given stk and ported head flow #'s this is tough to beat. It has all the lower end torque of a smaller cam but has great high end of a larger cam. This cam is certainly a bit more lopey but no that much. a trained ear can tell but the 216/220 is a torque monster and can still spin high given a very good exhaust.

Re: Cam Experts.. Question
Check the specs on MTI Stealth 220/220 @115.
Docile at idle but strong in midrange to 6500rpm. Good sleeper, designed for this purpose.
