help with RACE-TRONIX ls2/ls1 cam pos sensor adapter - no signal now :-( 2000 GMC Sierra 5.3
took old motor out / installed new motor using the 5.3 aluminum block that uses the ls2 cam position sensor in the front cover
i bought the adapter harness from lingenfelter ( packaged by race-tronix )
did not want to start at all, but finally did light off / i had it towed down to get tuned and hopefully the cam pos sensor issue sorted out but i still am not getting a signal to the computer / we tried swapping the 2 outside wires on the connector as pera post i read on the internet at some point, but this still did not work - it has been tuned as best at possible but still had the check engine light on with a cam sensor code and it cranks quite a bit before firing now instead of a quick start after a couple of revolutions like before
anyone have any ideas ?????????? or had this trouble before ?
voltage is good / grounds all seem fine / new battery
