What is the biggest throttle body you can put on a ls6 intake manifold? The car currently is stock except for CAI and Cat Back. I was looking into getting mine ported but I would like an extra just in case. The stealership doesn't like mods. With that said I would like to purchase an aftermarket one. What is a good one? Also how big should I go? I will likely be getting the intake manifold ported also. The car is a 04 cts v.

I just got a 85mm put on mine I think thats the biggest you can go with the ls6

Did you have to port your intake manifold, or was it a direct bolt on?

yea but it had a reducer to reduce the 85mm to the 78mm opening of the ls6. 78mm is the largest you can put on and gain anything. Any larger than that have to be reduced to 78mm anyway.
