Default COT for Magnaflow 59959s

I didn't find EXACTLY what I needed in a search so I'm posting this up. I know a lot of people keep the catalytic overtemp protection disabled when running high-flow cats and longtubes, but I guess the thought of melting one just scares me a bit. The car is a DD and I'm not hard on it. It sees the track for maybe 3 runs every other month or less. I actually called Magnaflow and spoke with a tech, but he couldn't really help me too much. There are plenty of threads on people just saying "keep it disabled," but I really don't want to do that. What I want to know is of those of you running the 59959s, what do you have your COT set at? Of those of you that keep it disabled and run cats, not just the 59959s, who has actually melted a cat?

I was told by an ex GM Employee Tuner of the LT1 era to bump it up 10-15%.

Thanks for the advice. That's about what I was thinking anyway, so that will probably be what I will do when I get them on the car.

Once you get the cats on the car, post some pics, I'm thinking of adding cats to my car...
