Default Buick Roadmaster; Texas Vehicle...spline drive opti?

Ok this might be a dumb question, but a buddy of mine has a 94.5 Buick Roadmaster. Now I thought all 94's had OBD1 vehicles. Well his car came with a vented opti and dual cats from the factory. He said that it is like that because it is a later '94 (which he called 94.5) Texas vehicle. I forgot to check if he had a crankshaft position sensor.

My question is what style of opti drive should he have? I was sure it would be a spline drive, but now I'm not so sure. I need to order one for him, but I don't want to get the wrong one, any help is appreciated, thanks.

Lightbulb

All 94-96 B-bodies have the later style harness and opti. 94 and 95 are OBDI, and 96 is OBDII. 96 is the only one with the crank sensor. HTH

Not the spline drive, got it. I wonder why the b-bodies got the later style opti's before the f-body's did?

Hell, they got it before the Y body and usually the Y body gets the firsts IE shifted to LT1 in 92 and LS1 in 96.....
