Default HPT and altenator

When I go WOT my altenator stops out-putting voltage.

What effect does this have on how my car performs at WOT. Does it pull timing? I know (I think) you cant tune for WOT with the alt not working just dont know why. I fixed the problem but was wondering the effects.

One of the effects is on the fuel injectors. Most liky your tune is optimized with your injectors running a particular voltage. Drop your volts from 13.8 to 12 @ WOT and there will be a measurable difference. Your voltage also affects your fuel pump/fuel pressure.

Time will be adjusted based on calculated load.
