Default what would this 408 put down?

blew the h/c ls1 so i ordered a 408 from texas speed...i ordered there
-408 shortblock
-Eagle LS1 forged crank 4.00 stroke
-Eagle LS1 H beam connecting rods
-Diamond 10cc pistons
-texas giant cam 248/254 .611/.613 112 w/ pushrods
-LS7 lifters
-Fast 92/92
Im using the heads from my LS1 they Patriot LS6 style heads...59 cc i was told these are gonna hurt me a little bit so just curious... compression is gonna be 11-11.5 / 1

now all this doesnt ship out til the end of the week...so im curious if anyone with a similar setup put down? this is a street car as well as a track car too thanks for anyone who can actually give me a real estimate on power here...i just cant wait to get it all installed THANKS!

just from the looks of it i would venture out and guess 465rwhp and 420tq give or take a few hp. with some better heads i would have said more, but those wont flow well enough to make great numbers

Cam is a little too big and the heads are not exactly the best choice. Maybe 470/450

probably a bit too big for the heads but youre obviously better off upgrading your heads later on then putting in a smaller cam to settle for that set of heads and a lower #, 475/420 doesnt sound too far off

i'll say 480 rwhp or so with 450-460 rwtq. there should be a few combos similar to yours on here so maybe someone with a similar setup will chime in.

500 would be easy with a different set of heads and a different cam.

yeh that cam is too generic for a build...a build like this needs a cam to match. if you had a custom ground cam to match your heads you currently have you may be able to pick up some hp. but even then its a huge cam for a 408. but good luck, and i hope you prove us all wrong and pull over 500

Fifedogg has an LS2 402 with an MS3 and stage 1 ported 243s and hit 502rwhp/475rwtq, I saw his car for the first time last week, you can hear the cam but you would never know its a 500+rwhp car.

EDIT: Hes also still on a 10 bolt, waiting till it breaks to install the 12 bolt.

His car is awesome and deceptively fast. Sounds basically stock with a slight hint of cam lope. Completely stock exterior. Stock interior. Little to people know he has a 402 with 500whp under the hood.
