How much for a new...........
How much can I expect to pay for a new clutch plus install in a '95 Z-28?
Son has a '95 Z-28 with an M-6 tranny.
Clutch just took a dump, completely gone, toast, etc....
Any input is appreciated guy's, thanks.

Depends what kind of/strength clutch you want, anywhere from $150 to $1,200 for a set.
Labor will be expensive too, about $300+.

A decent set of hand tools will be required. It's really not hard, but if its your first time, it could get frustrating. You'll need alot of extensions and a swivel socket for the top bellhousing bolts. I put tape around the swivel to keep it from having alot of play. You'll see what I'm talking about when you get there. Also, the alignment tool will be needed, but most of the actual clutch kits come with one.

Yeah, it's really not that hard to do. Helped my buddy out in his M6 and it took us about 25min to remove transmission and clutch assembly, and another hour or so to put it all back (with torquing and stuff). It's easy when you got a big guy like me just carying the tranny out of the car and putting it back in. Aligning the input shaft is sometimes a bitch but you'll eventually get it.
