Default stock 99 ls1 injectors provide any gain?

I was looking through the garage and found the fuel rail and injectors from my old 99 car, I know obviously I can't use the rail, but would there be anything to gain by swapping the injectors into my 96?

If you get it tuned for them, I think they're 28#. There probably won't be any real gain from them unless you have mods to support them, but you might notice some quicker response of the motor.

Also, I believe those use a different style connector, so you'd need to solder them in as well.

I believe they are a larger injector, 26 or 28, but that flow rate is also rated at a higher fuel pressure. And they do use the same connector.

Good call, forgot about the PSI. LS runs 50psi doesn't it? So if it's 28 it'd be back to around 24, and if 26 then probably 22ish. Well let me retract that, 39psi is ford, LT is 43 and that's 4 PSI making around 1.5# change. So I guess with 7psi change a better assumption would be 2# change. There's calculators but I'm too lazy lol

LS1 28lbs injectors are SMALLER than LT1 injectors when run at the same pressure. Just a fraction of a pound but still smaller. LT1 is a theoretical 43.5 LSx is 58psi
