engine builders come in.
Well i'm in the process of rebuilding my engine and i'm using the same probe forge piston and wrist pins they only had 20,000 miles on them and they are in good shape I had the rods check and they said they were good and withend specs. my Q is the wrist pins have a little wear marks nothing bad and its not worn into the pins but I took and polish them on my polishing wheel and then on a cloth polishing wheel
then I was reading where some wrist pins have a highly finish on them something like a 3-micron surface finish. will I be ok or?
they still measure .927 and weigh 117 grams.
I don't want to install them and then down the road they start to wear out faster.
what you guys think.
